The Never Ending Story

How many times have you been busy doing housework while also in the middle of doing something else? The next thing you know, before you've finished one goal you were on to the next? Soon enough, your house looks twice as messy as it did when you started. Cleaning supplies and rags sprinkled here there and everywhere. What about the never-ending story of laundry? This chore gets to me all the time. I remember to put it in the washing machine; however, moving it to the dryer is what trips me up! I get so upset with myself every time I forget. I've loaded and walked away without ever turning on the machine. Oh-man, I despise the smell of funky wet laundry. It stinks like a dirty dog wet with cat pee. Heaven forbid, you were to make the error of putting the load in the dryer. Or worse, mistakenly worn something after it had been left wet too long and then dried. All day, wondering, where is that putrid odor coming from... is it that guy... is it the baby... OH-NO, is it ME?

Then there are the days when you are just as busy but you are on your game! You don't forget anything! You are on time or early for everything. You are efficient, without any blunders or mistakes. It's like game-on! You remember everything that needs to be done and you accomplish it with ease. The never-ending story of laundry is not only started but it is done. I mean, folded, put away and somehow, you have also managed to lay out your outfits for the week too. Nothing shakes you or your focus. It is a virtually stress-free day!
